Kit Donation!

Mr Ed Hill (pictured in orange top) recently contacted the club in early September to say he would kindly donate all his fencing equipment.

Ed started fencing as a youngster with Ken Holding as his coach andfenced many regional and national competitions. While serving his country as a Royal Marine he has represented the armed services in many competitions including internationally in the USA

Sadly, work commitments have now forced his fencing to be put on hold, but hopefully not ended, and the club would be delighted if he could join us on a Wednesday evening at any time in the future

The equipment is in pristine condition – all protective clothing washed, masks scrubbed and swords fully tested and ready to go

This will significantly boost our club kit so now is the ideal opportunity, for prospective new fencers to come and join us for a taster session. There’s a good chance we can fit you out with the right size and ‘hand’ of kit – just turn up!

Moli and Isaac achieved their Bronze Awards! They worked hard learning the basics of fencing, both practical moves and theory and were examined by Brian. Congratulations to them both, we look forward to seeing their Fencing careers develop!
